FOOTBALL UNDERDOGS
If you're a football(soccer) fan, you will be wondering why the football underdogs are not performing like underdogs? For example, in the English Premier League, The teams the we don't think will perform are currently flying high. I don't expect newly promoted Wigan and West Ham United to be on the the top half of the league. Other than that, who would expect Charlton Athletics and Tottenham Hotspurs to be second and third. Charlton even defeat the 'unbeatable' Chelsea in the League Cup by penalty shoot-out. But Everton, which was fourth last season is currently last of the league. Once, David Moyes (manager of Everton) said that since they have been fourth in the league, they will chase for the championship. I think he means the Division 2 championship!!! :-)
In Spain, The underdogs are performing quit well. Who expect an unknown club called Getafe to lead the Primera Liga for a few weeks in front of mighty giants such as Barcelona and Real Madrid.
In African World Cup Qualification, four totally different teams qualified for the 2006 World Cup in Germany. The teams are Ivory Coast, Angola, Ghana and Togo. The big guns of African football, Nigeria and Cameroon fail to qualified.
In European World Cup Qualification, Switzerland, the underdog of football, qualified for the playoffs. Will they qualified for the World Cup? I guess only time will tell.....
In Asian World Cup Qualification, Bahrain qualified for the playoff against Trinidad & Tobago. Both teams are underdogs. I have absolutely no idea which team will advance.
I think it's time now for some underdogs to move up and some big guns to move down. Will it be Liverpool. I really think that the European Champions League winner are currently performing poorly..

I'm Back!
Finally, PMR is over and I can spend more time in front of the computer! Acually, life after exam is quite boring..... nothing to do at school and at home. All I can do now is to play some pc games, surf the internet and read some books such as Chronicles of Narnia ,LOTR and Harry Potter.........
