Random stuff..
These few days had been crazy for me... First of all, I have headaches since Monday. I'm feeling much better now but I just don't know why I got it in the first place. Secondly, I have practicals in every science subject last week so I have been writing reports like crazy... And also marching practise for sports day... of gosh.. I haven't marched for quite a while for scouts and I actually forgotten how to march.. Feels robotic when I march..
Speaking of practicals, Chemistry practicals are terrible. (I don't hate experiments but it's crazy). Some will be playing with the Bunsen burner without the teacher's knowledge, of course.... yes... i mean playing(as in we'll maximise the flame).. So sick of inhaling gas... The teacher will be complaining that we're noisy (not really lah.. compared to other times) when the class is relatively quiet. I never really got the idea of doing the esperiments correctly. Most of the time, something will happen. I remember my first chemistry experiment was about the naphtalene one last year... We were supposed to heat up the the water in a beaker containing a boiling tube with naphtalene inside. Everything was going right until.. after a while, we started seeing droplets in the water! The bottom part of the tube leaked (or melted) and the naphtalene entered the water in the beaker. The smell is so terrible that it made me feel dizzy..ah... The flame was too big, I guess, but seriously how did the boiling tube leak? I thought they are suppose to withstand heat and not leak... In the end, so my group was actually laughing throughout conducting the experiment Luckily, it's not peka...
